Fridaythorpe is a Wolds village approximately 20 miles from the City of York and 25 miles from Hull and gives easy access to the market towns of Pocklington, Driffield, Beverley and Malton, and provides good commuter links to East Cost, Driffield, York & Malton. From Driffield take the A166 Sykes Lane towards York and Stamford Bridge. Continue on this road through Wetwang into the village of Fridaythorpe, round the bend and "Crown Cottage" is situated on the right hand side.

From Pocklington, take the road out of Pocklington towards Millington. Turn right signposted Millington and then almost immediately left signposted Fridaythorpe, follow the road into Fridaythorpe.
