It has been announced this week that the long awaited Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme has reopened for the final time. Applicants can apply for between £3,000 and £12,000 to cover 40% of the cost of new technology and innovation to grow their business. An extensive list has been published detailing all that can be applied for but the list includes:
· cattle equipment (mobile and fixed handling systems, calving and dairying equipment)
· sheep equipment (mobile and fixed handling systems, weighing and EID equipment)
· pig equipment (handling and weighing equipment)
· general livestock equipment (weighing, EID and vaccination equipment)
· precision farming equipment (GPS and agronomy equipment and direct drill)
· resource management equipment (slurry and dairy equipment)
· other general equipment (weather stations, connectivity and grain drying equipment)
